Announcing SOC 2 Compliance: A Critical Step in Serving Our Customers
Mosaic is proud to announce the completion of a SOC 2 Type II audit. This process is helping us build trust with some of the world's fastest-growing companies and shows our commitment to data security.

Finance has lagged behind other departments in terms of tech innovation. While sales, marketing, and engineering have seen an explosion of innovative software, finance’s biggest breakthrough has been moving Excel to the cloud in the form of Google Sheets.
But finance’s control over a company’s most sensitive data complicates software adoption.
How can finance leaders fully trust tech vendors to keep their company data safe and secure? Are the promises of automation and more efficient workflows worth potentially risking data security?
Every day, the Mosaic team works to prove to finance leaders that it’s possible to build strategic finance software that transforms workflows and secures a company’s most sensitive data. Our jobs are as much about building trust as they are about building a world-class product.
And today, we’re happy to announce a major step in formalizing that trust with our customers and the broader finance community.
Mosaic has officially completed a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II audit, performed by Sensiba San Filippo, LLP (SSF). The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) developed the SOC 2 audit report as a standard for examining a company’s controls for the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of data.
A SOC 2 Type II report includes rigorous auditing to determine the effectiveness of internal controls and operational systems to maintain trust over an extended coverage period. Mosaic’s SOC 2 Type II report didn’t have any noted exceptions, meaning we obtained a clean audit opinion from SSF.
We know how important it is for our customers to see that our platform adheres to every aspect of the gold standard in data protection. That’s why we worked closely with Drata and SSF to reach this milestone in near-record time.
If you’ve ever gone through SOC 2 Type II auditing, you know that it’s no small task. We wouldn’t have been able to reach this point without so many people on our engineering team going above and beyond to make this possible.
I’m proud of the work this team has done and even more excited about what we’re doing to serve customers of all sizes.
If you have questions about our SOC 2 report or what it means for our customers, reach out for a demo of the platform and get all the details.
