Alex Song has 10 years of experience as a hedge fund investor in structured credit, special situations, specialty finance, and fintech. Prior to Ramp, Song worked at various high-growth capital management firms including Sculptor Capital Management and Crayhill Capital Management LP. Song has used his investment background to implement unique financial strategies at Ramp and establish a culture of strategic finance within the function.
When I think about leading the finance function here at Ramp, I think one of my most important responsibilities is informed decision-making. It’s about gathering all of the data, making sure we have the ability to gather the data, making sure we have the ability to interpret the data, and then subsequently helping folks across the organization… make the right decisions.
